Step 1: Open 'Windows Update Settings' on your PC
Step 2: Go through the Latest Windows 10 Update
Step 3: Click on 'View update history'.
Step 4: On the new page, you will find different kinds of Update History such as Feature Updates, Quality Updates, Driver Updates, and Other Updates.
Now if you are technically smart enough to find out which particular update is causing you the problem then it will be a jackpot for you.
You can simply uninstall the PARTICULAR update among these sections to get back your PC as it was earlier including some extra features also.
Step 5: At the top-left of the page, there are two options Given:
- Uninstall Updates
- Recovery Options
Difference between Uninstalling Updates and Recovering the PC
Uninstalling updates means moving back to the previous version of the application or the system without harming the personal data and information.
While Option SECOND is used to RESET your PC if your computer is not running well.
In Recovery Option, you either are required to choose to keep your personal files safe or remove them. Once you reset your PC, it will remove all the cache, cookies, and browsing history including your saved pages and password on your browser.
It's totally up to you.
Step 6: Click On 'Uninstall Updates'.
Step7: A new pop-up page of the Control Panel will appear.
On this page, to uninstall an update, select this from the list and click on UNINSTALL or CHANGE.
You are ready to go!
Alternative Way:
You can directly go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features > View Installed Updates.
After this, you are free to uninstall the updates you want to.
